ABOUT MACADAMIA TREE

The lifespan of this tree is more than 100 years. It grows up to 10 meters tall and has smooth, dense, oval-shaped leaves.
Small, bisexual flowers of white or pink color are gathered in clusters and hang like birch catkins. They bloom in spring.
In 15 weeks, round fruits ripen. Their brownish-green shell covers the nut with a very hard shell.
The kernel is white and sweet. It has unique properties and composition:
High content of healthy fats.
Contains monounsaturated fatty acids, which are beneficial for the cardiovascular system and help prevent atherosclerosis.
Detoxifies the body and removes excess cholesterol.
The substances in the nut reduce the risk of developing cancer, help cleanse blood vessels, and support in cases of migraines and varicose veins.
Высокое содержание полезных жиров.
В них входят мононенасыщенные кислоты, полезные для сердечно-сосудистой системы, предотвращающие атеросклероз.
Improves potency.
Zinc and manganese in the composition help with sperm production and activity.
Cell regeneration and nourishment.
Macadamia oil is used to protect the skin, soften scars, and is added to cosmetics and shampoos.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF MACADAMIA (per 100g)

Composition and Health Benefits of Macadamia Nuts
Macadamia, like many other nuts, is very high in calories and fat, quickly satisfies hunger, and is a great energy source.
It boosts performance and mood, and contains essential vitamins (PP, B5, B6, B2, B1, E) and minerals (manganese, copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus).
Its unique vitamin and mineral composition is especially valuable for the cardiovascular system.
It does not lead to weight gain — instead, it helps detoxify the body and normalize metabolism, supporting a slim figure.
Its antioxidant properties are particularly strong in macadamia oil, which is used to improve blood circulation, varicose veins, rosacea, and for rejuvenation of skin and hair.
PLANTING AND CARING FOR MACADAMIA
Macadamia seedlings adapted to the climate of Uzbekistan ensure successful growth and yield even in areas with mild winters.
These trees can take root in open ground and develop well in difficult conditions.
Planting Conditions:
Choosing a location:
Select sunny areas protected from strong winds. This creates a comfortable microclimate for the tree.
Soil:
Macadamia prefers fertile, well-drained soil with a neutral or slightly acidic pH (5.5–6.5).
Pit preparation:
The planting hole should be twice as wide and deep as the root ball. Do not plant the root collar deeper than ground level.
Care:
Watering:
Regular watering, especially during the first 2–3 years. It's important to keep the soil moist without waterlogging.
Pruning:
Shape the crown for even lighting and to prevent diseases.
Fertilizing:
Use organic matter (compost, manure) and mineral fertilizers rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
Proper planting and care will ensure that the seedlings become a true gem of your garden and a source of valuable harvest.
